How To Do A 3-Step Breast Check

You don't need to be an expert or know any special techniques in order to check your breasts but knowing their normal look and feel is vital to help notice any unusual changes. Use this simple 3-Step Breast Check, supported by the National Breast Cancer Foundation, the next time you're in the shower:

STEP 1: Glide left hand over right breast.
STEP 2: With your fingers feel over the breast and armpit for any changes. Repeat on left breast.
STEP 3: Look in the mirror for any changes to your breasts.
